Linder Foundation Response to COVID-19 in Central Kitsap

Please join us in supporting the worthy efforts of The Paul Linder Educational Foundation. Our mission to be champions of academic excellence for students and staff in the Central Kitsap School District has expanded due to the coronavirus pandemic.
This year we are placing an emphasis on:
In June we donated $1,000 to each high school to assist with extra costs involved in virtual graduations. We also extended the date by which 2019-20 grants could be expended by one year because students and staff were not in school buildings after March.
We know this is a difficult time to ask for funding, but your generous donation will make a difference to families and staff struggling to make ends meet. You can send a check, or donate directly HERE.
Our Foundation continues to honor the memory of local educators and community members: Amy Higgins, an outstanding teacher at Emerald Heights Elementary, Duane Brehm, who spent his career teaching history at CKJH, and our founder, Natalie E. Bryson, who had the vision to establish this Foundation in 1986.
The Paul Linder Educational Foundation accomplishes its work with an all-volunteer board and nearly zero administrative overhead. It is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization.
All proceeds raised will be used to fund this year’s evolving needs. As a Foundation, we pledge to keep the needs of Central Kitsap students and staff at the forefront. Thank you for helping us to fulfill our mission!
This year we are placing an emphasis on:
- sending backpacks of food to the families of students in need,
- assisting the families of furloughed staff in need of groceries,
- paying off the lunch debt of students on free and reduced lunch.
