Our Grants
The Paul Linder Foundation Grants provide opportunities that support educational excellence in the Central Kitsap School District. Grants are designed to fund training for students and staff or to purchase unique equipment and materials to expand learning in the classroom. The foundation awarded over $51,000 in total grants to Central Kitsap School District students and staff over the 2022-23 and 2023-24 school years.
The Paul Linder Educational Foundation grants are designed to fund unique equipment and materials to expand learning in and beyond classrooms with students and staff of Central Kitsap School District. All grant funded purchases will remain the property of Central Kitsap School District.
Materials and requisites are listed below. All documents must be submitted electronically to the Paul Linder Educational Foundation at the link below by Wednesday, November 27, 2024. We look forward to reviewing your application!
STEP ONE
Obtain an approval letter (on school or district letterhead) from your supervisor or principal. The approval should explain how this grant will help you meet the academic or leadership goals of your school or of the district. You will need a PDF copy of this letter.
STEP TWO
Write a concise description of your proposal (300-500 words). Be sure to include how your proposal will benefit your classroom, school and/or community. You will need to either copy/paste or type this into our form.
STEP THREE
Develop a line-item budget so the committee can see how the grant money will be spent. Be sure to include tax and shipping costs. If an item you are purchasing is on sale, report total cost as the item may not be on sale when the grant money is awarded. You will need to create a PDF copy of your line item budget.
STEP FOUR
Click on the link below to complete your application. (Students and staff have the same link.) You will be adding the PDF files to your application. If your request is technology related, your grant proposal will be reviewed by the Department of Information Services Director.
If your proposal is funded, you will be asked to complete an online summary upon completion of the project. The summary will describe the results of your proposal. The information provided will be used to illustrate how Paul Linder Educational Foundation Grants further educational excellence. Additionally, you may be asked to present your project at a Linder Foundation meeting. Reports are due no later than May 28, 2025.
